Not Exactly How We Wanted It To Go

Even though this Fall Ball season has not gone exactly the way we wanted it to, I do think some of our boys have learned some valuable lessons about baseball and life. We have two more games to go this week against the Braves on Tuesday and the Lions on Saturday. We are very well matched with both of these teams and there is no reason we can't walk away with two victories to close out the season.
To focus on the positive, the above picture is of our team with the opposing team prior to one of our games. People will say what they want about the Frenship league but the one constant that I do like about it is the coming together of the two teams prior to each game and the home team offering a prayer. This simple gesture has been lost or prohibited just about everywhere you look in our society. I hope this league continues this act and hopefully some bleeding heart won't come along to try to put an end to it because they are offended. Jesus loves baseball too.
